The mission of Psi Chi is to produce a well-educated, ethical, and socially responsible member committed to contributing to the science and profession of psychology and to society in general.

Twenty one student out of a total of forty one attended the Lafayette College's chapter of Psi Chi induction ceremony. New members are given a symbolic candle to hold during the ceremony.

Requirements for Induction to the Lafayette College Chapter of Psi Chi: be at least a 2nd Semester Sophomore, have taken at least 3 psychology courses, have declared a major or minor in psychology or neuroscience, be in the top 35% of your graduating class in GPA (w/ a minimum GPA of 3.0), and have a minimum 3.0 GPA in psychology courses. Eligibility for Psi Chi is determined at the beginning of each semester.  Invitations to join Psi Chi are extended in both the Fall and Spring semesters.
